DECEMBER 04, 2017

Nolan & Ciara & Dylan,

Hi there!  How is it going?  So what is new?  It is almost Christmas, only 21 more days away.  It is going by fast, the whole 2017 year will be gone and be passed.  It will now be 2018.  For some reason I like that number, 2018.  Must be when I was 20 years old, your mother was 18 years old.  I miss all of you.

Nolan – How was your birthday?  Are you playing the new XBox One X, system?  Or are you still playing a Nintendo Wii U or Switch system?  I think a new Super Mario game came out last month.  It looks cool.  Just like you!  There is so much I don’t know, have you begin to like any sports?  You were a good basketball player.   I remembered you taking skating lessons, you never gave up, even though your feet hurt sometimes.  Maybe, you’re a superstar hockey player now?  Or play on the road with a tennis ball.  That is what I did when I was 10 years old.  I played road hockey in the driveway.  I made so many dirty ball marks hitting the garage door, that Grandpa didn’t like me doing that.

Ciara – What can I say?  Have you started to read books yet?  Or adding and subtracting numbers? You must be getting big?  I can remembered pushing you in the grocery cart, that was so much fun.  I bet you now sit inside the cart where all the groceries go.  So much I don’t know, like what kind of foods you like or dislike.  I just know that your my little girl who is growing.  Do you comb you hair?  Do you know how to make a braid?  Did you have a nice Halloween?  When I was seven years old, my sister dressed me up as a girl for Halloween.  One day, I will show you a picture if I still have it.  I wore a wig and makeup. Ain’t that funny!

Dylan – I believe you are almost turning 2 years old now.  I have a picture, where I know that you do exist, since you have my eyes (and your Mom’s).  (You look almost like your older brother Nolan).  At two years old, I think at that age you are the cutest.  I hope you have nice toys, and hopefully you learn quick, with your ABC’s.  Well, I don’t believe it will be two Christmas that will go by, and I have not meet you yet.  One day I will.  I wonder what your middle name is?

I am so proud of you all, that your mother and me, have great kids.

Denise – It has been exactly 20 years today, that Titanic came out, that was our first date going out as friends.  It was December 1997.   I think we went to see it a couple of weeks later.  Just check the movie stub ticket.  Wow – 20 years ago.  Take care, I love you and our kids who are so special to us.

Take Care,

Love Dad XOXO
