Ronald Fields hurried back along the path and ran straight to the school. The recess bell already ranged. Inside, the classroom the teacher was taking attendance. The teacher called out “Ronald”. She looked in Ronald’s seat but it was empty. Ronald said ‘I am here”. The teacher said “Why are you late Ronald”? Ronald explained “I helped some robins find some worms in the dirt as the robins were hungry”. The rest of the children in the class giggled. But Ronald replied “they eat worms because they are omnivores and can eat up to 12 feet of worms in a day”. The teacher said “Ronald, you are full of imagination my child, the robin just a small little bird?”.

But Ronald knew he was right because Aunt Susan read his science book that taught him about robins. The teacher said ‘Ronald, if you can explain what an omnivore is to the class, i will accept you not being late. Ronald replied ‘It is an animal that eats both plants and animals”. Ronald smile and was happy, since he was right. The class then ask, what is an animal that only eats plants then? The teacher replied “That is your science homework for today’s class.”
